Feed the Homeless Day

All in order to go!

Just returned from church and there are some 11 casseroles in the fridge and 2 trays of brownies.

Ill be back at 3p to start cooking. May be a struggle to cook all so if possible if you can cook and bring up before 4p that may be the best.

We will be packing 200 bags of winter items--someone dropped off some real nice winter coats yesterday. Plus 200 sweatshirts/ gloves/ hats/ scarves/ etc. Also, packing in another bag: candy/ gum/ snacks/ toiletries/ etc. So, each will get a bag of each.

I think we have enough coolers for everything--if you have an extra let me know.

Also, I think we have enough room to transport all--if you have room let me know--tons of stuff.

All should ready to be served by 5p. Again dinner will include: salads from Beef'O'Brady's / casseroles/ desserts/ fruit.

Jet Services/ Aramark/ Ravens sending over: 250 rolls/ hot coffee and cocoa/ fruit/ cotton candy.

Upon leaving is when each will get a 2 bags of goodies as well as a to-go sandwich meal from Beef'O'Brady.

Gerry,

I just wanted to let you know that I put a big pile of plastic shopping bags on the shelf in the kitchen by the back door.

See you tonight. It will be awesome.

Hey Gerry. We are not going to be able to go tomorrow. Sorry. I really wanted to take the kids and it just didn't work out. I have 4 35 packs of water and 5 12 packs of soda. When can I drop them by? and what is your address?

Hi Bill - I asked Ed to forward you a message about this Friday, but in case he has not - The OLOF lead person has gathered an extravaganza with goodie bags of toiletries, sweats, socks, hats, etc, etc. plus tons of food. Gerry's brother works for the Ravens and is bringing hot chocolat and coffee for 200. He'll be bringing the stuff between 3 and 4. Will Lorenzo be around or anyone else to let him into the under church? I've copied Gerry, so please answer him as well.

Thanks for your help

Gerry,

Cards are signed. When would you like me to bring them? I'm also supplying cookies, cakes, and casseroles, and planning to bring them on Friday at 3pm. I can certainly drop off the cards earlier - did you want to put them in a big Christmas basket, or were you planning to stuff them into goodie bags?

I'm close enough to OLF to drop them off pretty nearly anytime. Just lemme know.

Cheers!

Jeff,

No problem with the coffee machine.

Regarding the rolls, they will be frozen and we do have about 600 steak rolls that we are no longer using which we would donate to you.

In case I don't see you, have a Great Holiday!

Just got a donation of sub rolls from the Ravens Stadium. If someone wants to cook something (meatballs/ sausages/ etc) to go with rolls--we will have plenty of rolls.

Thanks

Gerry

PS. I think I have all which I have ordered. Sweatshirts were delivered last night.

Bug Guy--right now in my homeless acct I have $250 or so.

Also, jeff has a bunch of sub rolls, etc--So i am having some casserole people make meatballs/ sausage for them.

I was thinking maybe we just got with 100 or so to-go box meals?

Up to you but I think we are looking like we have plenty for some 200 homeless. We have salads/ some 20 casseroles/ desserts/ togo meal.

Let me know

Moving any frozen casseroles to fridge this am--any casseroles delivered
should be put in fridge

Still need some plastic grocery bags. Thinking will need just a bag for
winter items and another for candy/ food/ toiletries. Also, if you have
bigger bags--may need 20 of them for the coats and blankets as well.

Will leave Crofton/ church parking lot around 4p on Friday to head up to
Baltimore. We should be done by 630p or so.

Thanks again
