That’s great Gerry that you have become so involved in helping and spreading the word. I know God is probably very pleased with your efforts. I too have become more involved this past year at my church in McLean. Seems many people think all you have to do is not kill, cheat, lie, steal, and your life is saved. And so many of my friends are Catholic too. Anyone believing in God and reading the bible should be able to tell, God expects more from us. His expectations are lower on those that don’t know him but to know him and not help people out in need and spread his word, I think he would probably feel disappointed. We will all stand before him 1 day and have to answer what we did with the lives he gave us and I want to be able to say more than just “I was good.” I want to feel like I made a difference in the world and in somebody’s life. I think there is a huge difference between “living” and “existing”, and I think so many are just existing.

Hope you and your family have a safe and happy Christmas season and keep up the good work.

Thanks for all you are doing, Gerry. I think this Christmas will be the best ever for many of the homeless people we serve - all thanks to your dedication.
Peace,
Ed
