Casserole Supper: Monday

Ok--looking real good for Friday

Still need about $150

Also, drinks and desserts

Casseroles looking good--just limited on how many I can cook/ transport.

Not packing goodie bags until Thurs --maybe Friday am since I have to wait until all my orders come in--so could still use winter clothes items/ toiletries/ etc.

May need coolers for casseroles and drinks. Not sure on how many transporters/ servers I have but we have a bunch of stuff to transport. Looks like we will serve buffet style.

Thanks
Gerry

So they will all line up and each get a salad/ casserole/ dessert/ drink--nice assembly line.

They sit down and eat and when done and ready to leave we will give each a bag of goodies and a to go meal.

How many does each casserole feed--some 10? I am sure I have over 20 casseroles due in this week. I aslo could stretch out the bags if you think it is better to feed more.

Gerry -

We have trays for everyone. They have a plate of hot food, bowl of salad, drink, and dessert and sporks and napkin. All fits on the tray.

If you can put the bags in a box, we'll put them at the door to give each person a bag when they leave. One of our regular helpers, Kevin, will be at the door and he'll over see whomever you put there to give out the bags. Kids usually like to do this.

cook casseroles 3-4p

transport everything 4-5p

serve 5-6p?

out by?

I guess put all the goodie bags by an exit door and have someone hand them out as they leave.

Yes this schedule is pretty accurate

We need to be out and cleaned up by 6:30

Besides all the dinner on the buffet tables, we also put up all the food for a goodie bag for our guests to take with them. A drink box, bottled water, hard boiled egg, sandwiches, snack items - and your lunch box - what a blessing all you and your folks are providing.

No - cook all you have. Whatever we have we give away.

Even those in the freezer, defrost and bake.

Dear Gerry,
Yes we will fit everyone in. We are set up for buffet style.
Yes we need to clean up and get out when we are done because there is another group that will use the hall.
This morning those two back packs were still under the warmth tree.
Gerry, I'm still wondering what OLF co-op is.
Peace,
ED

Gerry,

I bring 5 gallons of hot chocolate to Baltimore every Friday (in the winter months) and it stays pretty hot. I make it at home and put it in one of those 5 gal insulated containers. We could do the same for the coffee if you don't find one of those fancy coffee carriers.

O.K. I’ve collected up the stuff, and here’s the count:

213 pairs of socks

4 thermal bottoms

4 thermal tops

3 pairs of gloves

4 knit hats

A few bags of candy and snacks

I need to bring my kids to a piano rehearsal tomorrow at 11:00 in Crofton and can swing by your place afterwards (maybe around 11:30 – depends on how rehearsal runs).

Would that be O.K.? I’ll give a ring before I come over.

Gerry & Lynn,

YES, a plethora of Christmas cards are being signed! St. Peter's the Rock finsihed 84 yesterday, I'll bring another 84 to Co-op today, and the rest I'll get from my children's CCD classes Sunday for a grand total of 200+!!

I'm also in for two casseroles on the 4th Friday - I can do three, if need be.

Lynn, see ya at co-op.... I'm ALL about cancelling the 20th if we're not stuffing bags for Gerry.

Cheers!
