When we had our meeting, I think Ed explained that on occasion certain groups call Francine to volunteer to bring food and to serve at St. Vincent's. With the holidays coming up, a few folks have called to volunteer as follows:
Nov. 10th - that's this Friday coming up, i.e. the 2nd Friday. Barbara Urban will be bringing 10 casseroles and salad. So there is no need to push for 14 casseroles for this week. Whatever you get, we'll serve. Or if some folks want to skip this week, that would be okay too.
Nov. 17th - this is the 3rd Friday and usually we have hot dogs but a person has volunteered with 8 casseroles. Since Gerry's folks have a break their 4th Friday because of Thanksgiving Friday, he was going to have some folks make casseroles to go with the hot dogs. Assuming Gerry can recruit at least an additional 6 casseroles, the hot dog lady is being given a break. I think there are about 4 casseroles in the freezer for us. I think it is the freezer in the kitchen. Could someone from your team put these in the refrig on Tues or Wed to defrost by Friday?
Dec 1 - this is the 1st Friday. A sorority will be providing the complete dinner. We can supplement with a few casseroles - 6 would probably be sufficient.
I also have heard from a Why Catholic groupothing definite yet. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for all the help, the casseroles are greatly appreciated.
God Bless
Susan

Attached is the flyer that was suppose to be in the bulletin today - I went to Baltimore to church - so anything on this list and whoever can come to help is great. We'll prepare everything at church.
