Disney July 2007

CrissB and the other Cc's:

Looks like we will drive down on Weds the 25th and we have booked WDW Pop Century with DDP for thurs/ Fri/ Sat nights before going to our timeshare right off WDW with a 1 BR Suite with full kitchen and we will drive back that Friday or even Sat Aug 3. In case, CrissB misses her retn flight and needs more time in WDW: Happiest Celebration on Earth.

We have the DDP also so there will be plenty of food--tons of it.

What parks are you thinking about on what days and any table services booked as well?

If tons of food--Sharon and I have combined adult meals and splurged on a 2 ticket meal--maybe we will need a night just for adults one night.

If fold out sofa is still open I am sure kids would love that as well.

Let me know so we can get some things booked

WDW August 2007

Any specials that time of year?

Last year we got dining plan for free?

We have 3 kids--or 5 in family. What about the value resorts? I saw
something saying $80 per night. I heard one has a suite or bigger room for
family of 5?

Thanks

Disney JobLine

Jobline Logo

The WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort is one of the greatest shows you'll ever play a part in. As with all productions, good direction is a must. Here are some pointers:

Casting Hours

* The Walt Disney World JobLine at (407) 828-1000† is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
* Holiday hours may vary.

†Remember -- if you are under 18, you need to get an adult's permission to dial this number.

Your Cues
During your interview, the following topics may be discussed:

* Compensation: Pay rate is competitive for the Central Florida market. Excellent benefits are generally available based on your work status/tenure.
* Appearance: As a Cast Member, you will be expected to comply with specific appearance guidelines.
o For men, hair should have a neat, natural look, cut over the ear and off the collar. You must be clean-shaven every day. You may wear one ring per hand and a watch. However, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces are not acceptable.
o For women, hair must be a natural color, with no streaking or frosting. Make-up and nail polish should be in natural tones, applied as an enhancement to your appearance. Fingernails should be no longer than 1/4 inch beyond the fingertip. You may wear one ring per hand and a watch. Earrings should be post-style, no larger than a quarter. However, bracelets and necklaces are not acceptable.

* Scheduling: Most full-time and seasonal roles require full availability including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Part-time roles allow greater flexibility.
o Full-Time: Full-time Cast Members generally work 30-40 hours per week.
o Part-Time: Part-time Cast Members generally work up to 24 hours per week.
o Seasonal: Seasonal and on-call Cast Members generally work from 0-40 hours per week during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, and summer.

Year of a Million Dreams

Where are the YOAMD Desserts?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loved the Millenium desserts, also the Happiest Celebration on Earth desserts--but where are the Year of a Million Dreams desserts? Saw some special wines and stuff on the menus but no cool desserts. I still like the Millenium white chocolate mousse inside a white chocolate mold of Spaceship Earth I had in Italy a few years back. This time we had tables at: Jiko's, Coral Reef, China, and GF Cafe and other than the chocolate lava cake dessert at CR--no special desserts--actually never ordered desserts from Jiko's or China.

we think these are probably best value/ best deal for counters. I think chinese food at Pepper Market was just as good/or better than food at China at Epcot.
