Planted some annuals as well
Many people were there paying respects on Mother's Day. Place is filling up. Wasnt anything like that some 5 years ago or so.
Next Monday--Mom would have been 69 yrs old

We also paid our respects at Andrea's dad's grave. It has some beautiful shrubbery around it now.
We planted bright red flowers (closia?) around Mimi's bench and watered them with pond water (Max's job to retrieve that.) I picked red for Mimi's love of red shoes. Hopefully we'll get enough rain to keep them going.
Nancy--I just walked through the mall at lunchtime and saw JCrew had plaid featured everywhere in their window display. they had the cutest plaid miniskirt with the exact pattern Mimi used to have in a skirt (i remember borrowing it when I was in high school!). i would have bought it in an instant if it was maternity!
